I Love You, New York: A Personal Zine Project

This zine is a collection of responses from r/nyc threads where journalist Eloise King-Clements asked New Yorkers which places are too emotional for them to revisit. Touched by these stories, I went to a majority of these spots and photographed them in an effort to capture their essence and the unique emotions that people have attached there.

This city can be tough and unforgiving, but nonetheless so many of us choose to be here and nowhere else (myself included). It's a place full of heart and grit, and I hope this zine is a testament to the human condition. I love you, New York.
